Strategic Planning: At its core, a strategic plan is a powerful tool that improves the operation and value of your organization by articulating and prioritizing methods to enhance the value of your organization. WRB Consulting has developed Sculpting A Strategic Plan, a visioning and planning process which results in a carefully crafted Strategic Plan and path forward for your organization.

Fund Development: Raising funds can be a daunting and scary endeavor. WRB Consulting offers a range of fund development services, including grant writing and research, donor identification and campaign development.

Philanthropic Advising: Successful philanthropy is built upon a funding vision and decision-making strategy that can be shared and embraced by the Foundation’s trustees and key decision-makers. WRB Consulting works with philanthropists and the trustees and leadership of private foundations to update mission, vision and philanthropic intentions.

Writing, Communications and PR Strategy: Calling upon years of experience in the communications industry and as a feature writer and author, WRB Consulting accepts and welcomes clients interested in updating their communications strategies and those in need of creative writing services.

A little about me

My career has been rooted in a dedication to serve with and on behalf of nonprofit organizations and social responsibility projects, to use my talents and skills to make this world – and our communities - better, kinder and more humane. Whether I am working with a nonprofit organization as a consultant, helping identify funding impact for a private foundation or philanthropist, or supporting a social enterprise to create a sustainable path forward, my energies remain laser-focused on creating mission-based strategic initiatives that lead to success, sustainability and growth. And always, at the core of my work, is the promise I make to my clients, partners, associates and peers: that they can trust me with their confidences and will respect me for my honest work ethic.

I am interested in connecting with organizations looking to develop strong, meaningful social responsibility and philanthropic programs that meet the corporation’s/foundation’s mission, vision, and core values. Whether working together as a consultant, project director, or partner, I bring the skills and intention necessary to develop meaningful programs to achieve strategic and mission-focused goals.

Working with and for not-for-profit organizations has been a central element of my career since beginning in the field of public relations more than twenty-five years ago. My career history includes years of experience in customer, volunteer, and donor relations; board development, strategic visioning and mission development, program development, public relations, grant writing, marketing, and feature writing. Administratively, I have managed a staff of twenty, lead project teams and have collaborated with dozens of others.
